My commute rattles my phone mount badly enough to turn every video into a shaky mess. This dampener actually absorbs that buzz, so my image stabilisation finally holds steady even on rough pavement. Worth it if you use your phone for navigation or recording.

Took a three-hour ride on my old twin with the phone mounted on the bars, and the footage came out steady enough that I forgot the dampener was there. The rubber insert really does soak up the high-frequency buzz that used to make my camera refocus every few seconds.

Phone camera used to go haywire with vibration artifacts on my handlebar mount, but this dampener completely killed that. The rubber core absorbs the buzz so well that my 4K video actually looks usable now.
