Learn which Quad Lock replacement parts to buy for worn O-rings, missing spacers, or a new phone setup, plus fit guidance for handlebar and universal mounts.

Quick answer

Buy replacement O-rings when your mount feels loose or rattles, a Handlebar Mount PRO spacer set when you switch handlebar diameters, and a universal adaptor when you change phones or cases. These are the three most common Quad Lock spare parts, and each solves a different wear or fit problem.

Why spare parts beat a new mount

Most Quad Lock mounts are designed to be serviced, not replaced. The parts that wear out are usually the small, inexpensive ones: O-rings that compress over time, spacers that get lost when you change handlebars, and adaptors that stay on an old phone case. Replacing just those parts costs far less than buying a whole new mount and takes only a few minutes.

The trade-off is that you need to identify the exact part your mount uses. Quad Lock sells several spacer and adaptor variants, and they are not always interchangeable. Check your mount model and handlebar diameter before ordering.

When to replace O-rings

O-rings sit inside the mount head and grip the phone or case. They wear out from UV exposure, repeated mounting, and temperature swings. Replace them when you notice any of these signs: the phone twists with less resistance than before, the mount rattles on rough roads, or the O-ring looks flattened, cracked, or shiny.

If you ride daily or park outside, inspect O-rings every few months. A fresh set restores the original hold without touching the rest of the mount.

Spacers: match the handlebar, not the mount

The Handlebar Mount PRO uses spacers to clamp securely onto different bar diameters. If you switch bikes or change handlebars, you may need a different spacer size even though the mount itself is fine. Buying a replacement spacer set is cheaper than buying a second mount.

Measure your handlebar diameter at the mounting point before ordering. The spacer set covers common sizes, but if your bar falls outside those diameters you will need a different mounting solution.

Adaptors: the phone-side part

Universal adaptors adhere to the back of a phone or case and provide the twist-to-lock interface. They are the part you replace when you get a new phone, switch cases, or move the mount between devices. Because they are slim and low-profile, they usually stay on the case permanently.

If you use a MAG-compatible mount, choose the MAG universal adaptor. If you use a standard twist-lock mount, the standard adaptor is the right pick. The two are not the same, so match the adaptor to your mount type.

How to avoid buying the wrong part

Before you order, note three things: your mount model, your handlebar diameter (if applicable), and whether your mount uses the standard twist-lock or MAG system. That information narrows the choice to one or two parts. If you are unsure, a replacement spacer set and a spare set of O-rings are low-cost items that cover the most common failures.

Decision rules for buying spare parts

  • If the phone feels loose or rattles: Replace the O-rings first. This is the cheapest fix and usually restores grip. If the rattle continues, check the mount head for wear. Start with O-rings before considering a new mount.
  • If you changed handlebars or bought a second bike: Buy a Handlebar Mount PRO spacer set that covers your new bar diameter. Measure the bar at the clamp point, not at the grips. Spacers are model-specific; confirm your mount is the PRO version.
  • If you got a new phone or case: Buy a new universal adaptor. Match it to your mount type: standard twist-lock or MAG. The adaptor stays on the case, so you only need one per device. Do not reuse an old adaptor if the adhesive has been removed or the case is textured.
  • If you want to add wireless charging to a 360 setup: Choose the 12V-24V Waterproof Wireless Charging Head. It is IP67 water resistant and works with 360 bases you already own. This is an upgrade part, not a repair part; buy it only if your 360 base is compatible.

Key replacement parts

  • Replacement - Handlebar Mount PRO Spacer Set: Replacement spacers for the Quad Lock Motorcycle Handlebar Mount PRO, fitting handlebars 22.2mm, 25.4mm, 28.6mm, and 31.8mm in diameter. Lets you move the same mount between bikes or handlebars without buying a new mount.
  • Universal - Universal Adaptors: Quad Lock Universal Adaptors feature the secure locking mechanism compatible with all twist, lock mounts and can be directly adhered to phones, cases, and most flat metal or plastic surfaces. The adaptor is 5mm thick and the MAG version is 5.3mm thick. A low-cost way to reuse your existing mount when you change phones or cases, and the slim profile keeps the phone pocket-friendly.
  • Quad Lock 360 Head - 12V-24V Waterproof Wireless Charging Head: The 12V-24V Waterproof Wireless Charging Head is IP67 water resistant and includes a red light indicator, making it suitable for marine applications. It integrates with Quad Lock 360 setups. If you already own a 360 mount and want wireless charging without replacing the whole system, this head is the upgrade path.
  • Quad Lock 360 Head - MAG Head: The Quad Lock MAG Head integrates with Quad Lock 360 and uses strong hold magnets plus the Quad Lock interface for shear resistance. It allows quick attach and detach by positioning the phone in front of the mount. A fast-mounting option for 360 users who want the convenience of magnetic alignment without giving up the security of the twist-lock interface.

Fit guidance: which parts fit your setup

Best for

  • Riders whose handlebar mount has become loose or rattly and want a low-cost fix
  • Owners who switch between bikes with different handlebar diameters
  • Users who upgrade phones frequently and want to keep their existing mount

Not for

  • Mounts that are physically cracked or have a damaged locking mechanism (replace the mount instead)
  • Handlebar diameters outside 22.2mm, 25.4mm, 28.6mm, or 31.8mm (choose a different mounting solution)
  • Non-Quad Lock mounts or cases that lack the twist-lock interface
