Took this on a week-long camping trip wired to my bike’s battery, and it kept my phone charged through heavy rain and rough gravel roads without a hiccup. The multiple switching ports meant I could also juice up my GPS at the same time, which was a nice bonus. Solid little gadget for the price.

The weatherproofing on this adaptor is solid—I’ve had it wired to my boat’s battery for two months now, through rain and salt spray, and it still charges my phone without a hiccup. The smart switching means it doesn’t drain the battery when the engine’s off, which was my biggest worry.

Mounting it on my caravan took about ten minutes, and the multiple switching outputs mean I can charge my phone and GPS at the same time without any voltage drop. The waterproof casing has held up through two heavy downpours so far, no issues at all.
